Simple & smart perfection that rethinks the basics

SMALL FOLD WALLET

Small Fold Wallet_1

Mini wallets have been all the rage the past few years as we march steadily towards a cashless way of being, but were you aware that this year has seen interest rise in bifold wallets? The reason is that L-zips and other extremely compact wallets require one to fold bills three or even four times, which then have to be unfolded again when used. This detailed action is something that takes a lot of getting used to, and this has caused some who chose mini wallets out of convenience to realize they merely created another problem.
Those whose emphasis on a sleek form factor supersedes the extra trouble of having to fold and unfold bills will continue using mini wallets. But those who don’t fall in that camp have started to turn toward bifold models. Some might say, “Well, why not take it a step further with a trifold?” but generally speaking, wallets tend to look less classy the thicker they get and are thus less popular with minimalists looking to keep the way they store money simple. A bifold wallet that allows access with a single motion is what makes them one item worth keeping on anyone’s radar right now.

Glenroyal’s compact fold wallet has a straightforward design with one pocket each for coins and bills and then two for cards. Unlike normal bifold models, the coin pocket here opens as soon as the wallet is unfolded, an extra bit of functionality that makes it possible to access change immediately. The move towards cashless lifestyles has been progressing for some time now in the West, they still say that the higher up the chain you go at companies, the more you find people who use bifold wallets. Perhaps it’s time to start choosing one’s billfold from a standpoint of logic rather than appearance or following the trend.
